Frances Bailey has a sensibility that is both welcoming and inspiring: tasteful yet unpretentious, sophisticated yet comfortable, always honoring tradition with a modern flair. A native North Carolinian, she began her career in style with a wide audience as Associate Style Editor of O, The Oprah Magazine.
Following successful work as a freelance Stylist and Market Editor for home and style at publications including InStyle, InStyle Home, The Knot and Inc., Frances joined Country Living magazine. Promoted quickly from Decorating & Lifestyle Editor to Senior Editor, Frances’s exceptionally good taste, creativity and experience in the lifestyle, tabletop, food, travel and decorating categories let her contribute significantly to the magazine’s content, direction and tone. As Deputy Style Editor, she developed and produced original story ideas for the magazine’s 12 million monthly readers.
Today, she wears many hats: a sought after Contributing Producer for national publications, an Interior Designer and Branding Consultant.
